"Put that away luv, just take one" m'a t'il répondu avec un authentique accent anglais. Il m'a tendu son paquet de cigarettes ouvert. J'ai refusé, "No I want to pay you". Il a insisté " Forget it darlin, just take one!". ", "COME BACK HERE...ZELLERS!!" J'ai reconnu ce nom mais je n'y avais pas vraiment prêté attention sur le moment, jusqu'a ce que je découvre cet endroit. Submitted by: Diva Location: Montreal Date: 19th November 2006 Last weekend me and my girlfriend were at a friends birthday party at a Moroccan belly dancing restaurant in downtown Montreal. At some point we went outside to steal a smoke. I quit the habit months ago but always get a taste for it after a glass or two of wine LOL. I asked this guy for a smoke offering to pay. He refused the money but gave us a couple of sticks anyway. He was English. I asked him where he was from, he said "Leeds in England originally." Later he asked us "So are you friends, lovers, family or acquaintances?" I said we were lovers. He said "That's nice. You could help me out actually. My friend and I enjoy watching ladies who love each other dance together." "We find them very inspiring." He said with a smile. We agreed to show him the hot spots in the city but the cell number I got from him is not taking calls so I searched around and found your web site. The name he wrote with his cell number was DJ Z. !! Submitted by: A Neuro-Biologist & A Fashion Designer In Love Location: Montreal Date: 11th November 2006 This one time on holiday. My best friend Casey and me were soaking some rays in a two seater pedal boat in the bay near my Pa's cabin. We were playing our favorite fishing game Hot Guy Cold Guy. Waving and smiling to cuties, waving then tongues out to the rest. We waved to some guy who kinda looked cute in a sick car passing by overhead. He went out of view and we both sighed, "awe... the one that got away." Next thing we heard a screech and the same guy appears. He walks into the water with all his clothes on and swims up. "a catch!" He said, "That was amazing. You are the best thing I've seen in three thousand clicks." He had an English accent. We chatted. I asked him what he did. He said he was an artist and a DJ years ago but that was history. Zellers if that was you. Casey wants your number. Get in touch! Submitted by: WaterHottie Location: Ontario Date: 19th August 2006 For all I know Zellers could be lurking here. The man behind the curtain. But you never know with this kid. Do I know him? yeah man. Have I seen him? believe it mate. The short time I have had encounters with the drifter almost seem to be coming to an end as I feel he is about to pull another vanishing act. I Don't know when, but I feel it in my bones. It will be a sad event, but I'll tell you again that he has definitely left his mark out here. That legend you call DJ Zellers has opened up vaults of trance and jungle like no other and has totally re-kindled a love for the tunes we used to raid warehouses for back in my old home town. He tells you a ton, but on the same hand doesn't reveal much. Like a fart in the wind he can be gone faster than you can comprehend, but I assure you the spirit won't be forgotten man. If I don't get a chance to share one more Corona and Irish Carbomb with him before who knows what he has planned, I'll leave you with one thing he represents. DJ Zellers .....Core, not Corporate. Submitted by: PhantomGroup Location: Unknown Date: 3rd August 2006 I met an Englishman at a bar near my local flying school in Delta B.C. the other week, right. He looked similar to the guy in your pictures, eh. I was celebrating passing my PP licence with other students. The Englishman insisted he paid for a round of drinks so we got talking. I didn't think much of it till I found your web site, but he was ranting on and on about the quality of north American radio programming, new artists struggling to get airtime between commercials, old Rock, 80s music and important news bulletins about cats stuck up trees blah blah blah. He also told me he was gonna buy 700 acres of land including two lakes and a Cessna float plane. I said, "Why'd you wanna do that, eh?" He reckoned, in the near future, people will be flying and crashing around the sky as easily as they drive. Property development in the northern territories will be ripe and land prices will sky rocket. I can't remember much more of the evening but he was throwing back Coronas like soda! Sounds like the sorta thing he'd say, eh? Submitted by: Molson C Location: Canada Date: 4th June 2006 One
last comment this week. "Where is DJ Zellers ?" Many years ago while working on
a game for Eidos I had the privilege of working closely with the multi-talented
DJ Zellers - Not long into production the guy suddenly disappears leaving not
only the production in jeopardy, but very little information to his whereabouts
other than a single cryptic message on his answer phone "Ta guys, sorry, gotta
split, brilliant, they'll never get to...click:"Now, it's been over 10 years, but I was thinking about where the guy may have ended up and so, keeping with the desperate gamers theme I thought I'd put the word out to see if anyone knows of his whereabouts. If so please email us here at pspgames.com desperate@...etc. Last we heard was that he was spotted at a club in Australia about 2 years ago. If you do see him, tell him John wants his advance back. Found at: pspgames.com Date: 1st June 2006 I won a phone in competition at the ol' Cool FM and had to collect my prize by driving through miles of narrow muddy country lanes to their station. I say station, it was actually an overcrowded VW camper van wired directly to a nearby tower.
